A PC connects through USB-A to KH-UCANFD-LITE-X2U, and one DB9 splits into CAN1 and CAN2
USB-A connects to the host; a DB9 terminal adapter or one-to-two DB9 Y cable separates CAN1 and CAN2.

KH-UCANFD-LITE-X2U connects two CAN / CAN FD networks to a computer or industrial PC through USB-A. Both channels share one DB9 connector and can be separated with a terminal adapter or one-to-two DB9 Y cable.

The adapter provides 1500 V electrical isolation, up to 12 Mbit/s in the CAN FD data phase, 64-byte CAN FD payloads and backward compatibility with CAN 2.0A/B. Both channels can operate at full bus load simultaneously.

With CANmeleon device manager, the same hardware can install protocol applications for different driver and software ecosystems. Standard SocketCAN, python-can, C/C++, C# and Python workflows are also supported.

ISO and Non-ISO CAN FD

ISO CAN FD and the earlier Non-ISO CAN FD format are not fully compatible. All nodes on a bus must use the same mode. KH-UCANFD-LITE-X2U supports both modes.
