Getting Started

1. Confirm wiring and peer settings on an authorized test bus.
2. Select the device and CAN channel. For CAN FD, configure both nominal and data-phase bit rates.
3. Open the channel using the controls in your version. In versions with an Enable channel option and global Start, apply the configuration first, then explicitly start. Older packages combine applying configuration and opening the channel.
4. Observe traffic, select an open transmit channel, enter the frame ID and data, and explicitly send.
5. Stop transmit tasks and recording, wait for the recording to finish, then close the channels.
